API & Integration Lifecycle Management

All LLN Robot APIs and integrations are managed under our formal change management process:

Version control: Major changes are released under a new API version to maintain compatibility where possible
Secure development: Changes are implemented under our secure development lifecycle, with functional and security testing aligned to OWASP
Approval & deployment: All changes follow documented change control, including approvals, scheduling, and rollback procedures
Communication: Clients are informed of new versions, changes, and planned deprecations through release notes and help centre updates
Retirement: Deprecated endpoints are maintained for a defined period before secure retirement
This process ensures API and integration changes are predictable, secure, and well-communicated.
